Join us this Sunday
We gather each week at 10:30am
What to Expect…
We know it’s not easy visiting a new church. There are a lot of things to think about and prepare for. We’d love to have you and your family join us this Sunday and we hope this helps make planning your visit easier!
Questions & Answers
Is Childcare Provided?
We are very homeschool-friendly and practice family worship. And while we don’t have a nursery, we have multiple families and work together to accommodate children of all ages on Sundays. This is how we practice the decree to “raise up a child in the way he should go.” - Proverbs 22:6
Should I Bring Anything?
While nothing is needed, we would love it if you brought your Bible! Our pastors typically provide worksheets to take notes during the teaching. You could also prepare your heart and mind for worship by listening to worship music on the drive to church - thus bringing a humble heart to the Lord (1 Peter 5:6)
What Should I Wear?
We are very welcoming to all styles and while there is no need to dress up, remember you aren’t going to a night club either. Wear whatever is comfortable. Shorts if it’s hot is more than appropriate for men and women. We only ask that you be modest (no crop-tops or short shorts), but t-shirts and jeans are great!
Do I need to Check in?
While there is no general process for checking in or form to fill out or some sort of connection card, you will certainly be greeted by a member or elder or pastor when you arrive! Our church is small and our people are genuinely loving. A hand-shake or a hug is our way of checking in on Sundays.
Where Should I Park?
FBC owns the parking lot to the south and there is plenty of parking in the lot attached to the church. Our members try to practice hospitality by parking farther out so feel free to park closer to the church. We want you to feel welcome and that’s just one of the many ways we’d like to serve you.
Do You Meet During the Week?
Our members certainly do connect - whether sharing a meal after church or community potlucks or Home Groups. You can check out those pages at the links above to learn more or ask someone on Sunday morning for more information. Attendance isn’t required, but connection is encouraged.
Have a Question?
We get it… And we’re here to help! If you have any questions about who we are, where we’re at, or how we do things, ask!
