Sermon Series Notes

Mark’s Gospel is the second of the four canonical gospels and one of the three synoptic gospels. It tells the story of Jesus Christ's ministry, from his baptism by John the Baptist, to where Jesus is identified as one from Nazareth and recognized as God's Son by demonic spirits, other miracles all the way to his resurrection. Jesus preached repentance and chose his disciples, teaching them about himself and how to evangelize. He entered Jerusalem and predicted its fall, then suffered and died for the sins of the world. Finally, Jesus is resurrected and proclaimed as the Lord!

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

Mark 12:30
