Sermon Series Notes

The Book of Micah in the Bible's Old Testament explores themes of judgment and hope through the writings of the prophet Micah, a contemporary of Isaiah. Micah's prophecies address the injustices of Israel's leaders and prophets, who exploited the poor and violated the Torah's laws to benefit the wealthy. Micah reproaches these leaders and defends the poor, while also looking forward to a peaceful world under the leadership of a new Davidic monarch.

“All the nations may walk in the name of their gods, but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.”

Micah 4:5
